I know, I know. It’s an understatement to call Vanessa Carlton a one hit wonder because she has remained in the scene- although not being mainstream -ever since her debut hit single (above). But unfortunately she hasn’t been able to deliver a performance superior to “A Thousand Miles” and has therefore remained as one hit wonder since then. Her hardcore devotees will continue to love her music in spite of not having a proper charting second single therefore she’ll continue to produce music for those who are loyal to her.
Her fourth album, Rabbits on the Run has been scheduled for release on the 26th of July, 2011. You can check her debut single “Carousel” on her YouTube page.
