Usher ft. Rick Ross “Lemme See” Single Premiere

Was Usher’s new sound inspired from Miguel? That is the million dollar question everybody is dying to ask.

“Lemme See”, which acts as Usher’s third single to his forthcoming album Searching For Myself, exudes the same electro/neo-soul feeling that Usher’s debut single “Climax” exuded. Not to mention it also contains similarities to newcomer Miguel’s signature sound.

Rick Ross goes on his usual rampage of brand name dropping, money minded boastful lyrics. But for the first time since I came across Ross his husky voiced, self absorbed rapping blended in with the overall atmosphere of the song thereby making the already erotic number a wee bit more expensive.

Produced by Jim Jonsin.

Usher “Scream” Single Premiere

While “Climax” continues to climb up the charts and redefine genres, Usher gifted his fans another hopeful from his upcoming album, Looking For Myself (June 12th).

This time around Usher switches lanes to what he does best and that is Electro-Pop with a revolutionary twist. Meaning it carries the same elements as every other Electro-Pop banger but with an distinct ingredient that can only be heard if you let it flow into your eardrums naturally.

“Scream” was produced by Max Martin & Shellback who are of Swedish nationality, hence the raw freshness the track encompasses. Available on iTunes and pirated media sites ;)

Psst…Usher’s next single will be called “Let Me See” and will feature Rick Ross with Jim Jonsin handling the production.

Usher “Climax” Video Premiere

Usher finally releases a video for his debut single off his upcoming untitled seventh album.

After the single’s release Usher cleared the air by stating “It’s odd that people view ‘Climax’ as a sexual song,” Usher told Atlanta’s V-103. “It’s not. It’s not even about sex. It’s really about the ultimate experience or finale of an experience of love and life.”

The Diplo produced electro-soul number may be Usher’s best attempt at genuine music in a few years. A beautiful video to go with the smooth melody and is worth the entire 4 minutes.

Usher “Climax” Single Premiere

Back in the day when Usher released his multi-platinum selling single “OMG” I immediately lost all faith in him. Mainly due to his consistent use of auto-tune on the track and also due to the lack of soul it exuded.

But today (or rather on Valentine’s Day) Usher dropped a brand new number with the assistance of producer, Diplo. And I have to say that it is absolutely amazing.

Diplo provides an soulful melody for the the R&B/Pop Icon to gush over and show off his amazing vocal skills. “Climax” isn’t the usual Pop or R&B sound Usher typically dabbles in, this is what the producer himself called an Electro-Soul effort.

This track is perfect and I, therefore recommend it for all music lovers out there. Not to mention that this a perfect release for V-day baby-makers. ;)
