Tyga “Rack City” Video Premiere

Young Money affiliate, Tyga releases yet another video (making it his third) off his upcoming sophomore studio album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King

Apparently another video representing this track had been sitting on his Youtube account since last year with over 12 million views. This video is courtesy of the worst thing that had happened to YouTube, Vevo. I’m guessing the previous cut was too explicit.

To sum it up, the beat is sick, the visuals look expensive (with exaggerated explosions and topless girls 1:03) but the rhymes are just horrible in every possible way. Even a six year old has a better vocabulary than Tyga. Honestly what was he thinking.

His track with Americal Idol contestant Chris Richardson (who was recently signed to Cash Money Records) was ten times better in terms of lyrical composition and theme.

Tyga ft. Chris Richardson “Far Away ” Video Premiere

It seems like Lil Wayne’s Young Money crew isn’t hopeless after all. YM gave the world Drake, Nicki Minaj and now probably Tyga (if he keeps up with the good music).

This is the first soulful rap single I’ve heard from Tyga so far (maybe because this is the only one he made a video for) and I’ve got to say honestly, I love this!
The fifth placed American Idol contestant (6th Season) nails the chorus while Tyga reminisces about losing someone that he never knew he had.

A must listen and watch, I urge you.
