Trey Songz “Heart Attack” Video Premiere

Trey Songz may have already released four albums until now but he is not known for consecutive global hits. I, personally find his music repetitive and somewhat over-hyped but that was until I heard this very track.

Besides the fact that “Heart Attack” co-stars Kelly Rowland it has a unique melody which is primarily made up of an 8-bit sound and set of suitable lyrics to add value. This track will appear on his upcoming fifth studio album, Chapter V.

In an overall capacity this is a worthy R&B number and deserves a spot on your playlist. So please give it a listen, at least.

Trey Songz ft. Fabolous “What I Be On” Video Premiere

Trey Songz drops his first video off his 5 track EP, Inevitable.

The track isn’t at all good compared to his previous material. Trey Songz concentrates on having a good time on this track as opposed to been his usual sentimental self hence the inclusion of Fabolous.

The video boasts a lot of beautiful girls getting wet & hot in the pool at the beginning and then getting down and dirty as they hit the club. In terms of hotness, this video is scorching but in musical terms this is just another contemporary hit to attract some attention.

Trey Songz “Top Of The World” Video Premiere

Trey Songz releases “Top of the World” as his lead single for his recently released mixtape Anticipation II.

This track emits an inspirational melody on which Trey outputs his vocals rather softly. Towards the latter Trey switches to a rap which I would call an unnecessary measure that ruined the whole feel of the track. Although the lyrics are mediocre he is able to send his message across clearly.

Could’ve been better if he had focused more on the lyrics.
