The debut single from The Hunger Games soundtrack has just received the video treatment and it looks beautiful.
Composed and backed up by The Civil Wars, Taylor Swift makes a grown-up appearance on the video looking absolutely stunning against the calm and gloomy landscape.
The much awaited movie The Hunger Games, based on the novel of the same name by author Suzanne Collins, has finally released a full length song that is to be featured in the movie.
Taylor Swift collaborates with the Grammy nominated folk duo, The Civil Wars who are mainly heard providing backup vocals in the dark and gloomy instrumental.
For all you hardcore T-Swizzle fans this would be quite a surprise because the teen country sensation takes flight from her joyous and inspiring vibes to land herself on a gloomy and mystifying melody. This track features a much grown-up Taylor Swift with vocals she’s not known to produce on her kind of music.
An overall perfect attempt by everyone involved and therefore is a must to download.
Veteran producer T-Bone Burnett is said to have enlisted The Decemberists and Arcade Fire to provide more material for the upcoming movie’s soundtrack.
rating: ♥♥♥ (available for download on iTunes and wherever)
Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS dear visitors. Do keep visiting!
Just when we were beginning to think that T-Swizzle might be a female Van Wilder she proves us wrong by landing herself inside an office behind a desk, working. -_- Not cool bro!
The sixth single off Taylor’s 2010 album Speak Now and is entirely a country number.
The video features a very stressed out Taylor Swift in office attire supported by running shoes. O_o Ultimately “Ours” is a another love song but with a different feel as opposed to her previous romantic numbers.
The video stars Zach Gilford most known for his role on the TV show Friday Night Lights but known to me through the movie The River Why.
Country darling Taylor Swift went back to her R&B/Hip Hop personna just a few days ago to cover Eminem’s Oscar winning single “Lose Yourself” using just a guitar and her gifted vocals. And now she is back again to cover one of (rapper) Nelly’s best comeback ballads “Just A Dream”.
Check it out, it’s simply amazing!
Kudos to Rico Love & Jim Jonsin for the composition and writing of some of the lyrics. And Nelly for adding that special unidentifiable ingredient he is known for.
Did you know that Nelly’s “coolness” was boosted in the eyes of his daughter when Taylor Swift tweeted the song? I can’t seem to find the damn tweet -_-
This post has no intention of slandering her for the unfortunate & purely coincidental event that took place during a live performance on a public stage. This is just something for the fans, after all I did post a clip of Rihanna falling down the stage so it’s only fair I post something on the country darling Taylor Swift.
At 0:37 an air vent nestled among the stage floor blows a puff of air just as Taylor steps on it, giving her that perfect Monroe moment which she just laughed off. By the way is that a tattoo on her arm at the beginning on the clip?
PS - Await for an embarrassing clip of Kanye. *evil laugh*
