Shwayze & Cisco “You Could Be My Girl” Video

If you are sick of the misogynist, somewhat elitist and homophobic rap songs by mainstream artists then I would wholly recommend you a dose of Shwazye & Cisco. The video is taken from the duo’s third album titled Island In The Sun (which also happened to be a great relaxer) which was released in mid-September.

This is Cisco strumming away on a guitar while Shwazye enthralls the pretty girls with romantic PG rap lyrics on a hot summer’s eve or noon at the beach. This is what people would call alternative or even indie hip hop because these guys live in a whole new world of their own.

Must listen for non-hip hop fans!

Shwayze ft. Cataracs & Dev “Love Letter” Single Streaming

This is the first time I’m hearing of rapper Shwayze and this single is a real seasonal hit. Just because this was produced by The Cataracs and features Dev it does not resemble any kind of electronic club banger. This is as serene as The Cataracs can get, the kind of lay-back-and-doze-off-day-dreaming-about-your sweety, style of rap.

Must listen even though it’s almost a year since this was released! Also check out his other two hits Buzzin’ and Corona And Lime.
