Robin Thicke ft. Lil Wayne “Pretty Lil’ Heart” Video Premiere

The Blue Eyed Soul crooner pays homage to a series of classical American movies on his second video off his 2011 album Love After War.

What Thicke had to say regarding the song,

“The inspiration behind this song was really just about when you’re in a relationship and you’re faced with all the challenges of temptation and attraction to other people, how can you trust when you’re not with that other person [that] they’re doing you right?”

The movies that inspired this music video are A Rebel Without a Cause and A Street Car named Desire.

Robin Thicke “Never Give Up” Single

This by far, is the most notable song on Thicke’s latest album Love After War. The friendly neighborhood soul crooner chants line after line of encouraging words over an uplifting orchestral melody comprising of trumpets, violins and flutes.

While this song is intended for matters relating to one’s heart it can also be interpreted as a pick-me-up track for today’s unhealthy economic situation. It maybe sampled off José Pablo Moncayo “Huapango” but Thicke shows that he can really do justice to a sample unlike many other artists out there.

A must listen for every music enthusiast out there.

Psst…did you know that Thicke had been dating his current wife, actress Paula Patton (MI: Ghost Protocol) since he was 16?

Robin Thicke “Love After War” Video Premiere

Break up to Make up, is what the blue eyed soul singer preaches on his latest video starring none other than his real life wife and actress Paula Patton (MI: Ghost Protocol). If I got my facts right this track will serve as the album’s lead single.

Thicke & Patton goes through a series of arguments only to make up every time, probably with some great sex. “Love After War” emits a jazzy vibe aided by Thicke’s incredible soulful voice making heads nod and feet tap. The Hype Williams directed video explodes with sexual energy making the hot couple writhe in arousal.

Hope their kid doesn’t see this!:D

In case you’re wondering what kind of music this exceptionally talented artist produces then I might suggest you listen to his duet with 50 Cent, which also served as a huge stepping stone for Thicke’s career. You would stop to think if this is really the 50 you knew from back in the day.

Robin Thicke ft. Lil Wayne “Pretty Lil Heart” Single Premiere

R&B/ Soul singer-songwriter Robin Thicke is back with a brand new single for his fifth studio album titled Love After War.

This track is unusually amazing. Whilst Wayne takes on a short opening verse in a surprisingly sincere and soft fashion, an insecure Thicke constantly keeps asking for reassurance from his lover.

The old-school melody with a slight touch of modernity backed by the sensual vocals of Robin Thicke takes this track to a whole new level of seduction. Wayne can be called as an useless addition to this awesome piece of music.

This is my first attempt at a Robin Thicke song and I love it!

Seductive & unique! Totally worth the download.
