The Hayley Williams led emo-punk outfit released their third & final single as a part of their latest project called the Singles Club. The project aimed at celebrating their devout fans by releasing a single for a period of three months for immediate purchase on their website (not iTunes).
The three member band known for their distinct amalgamation of Emo and Punk rock has taken quite a different turn on this single. Hearing this track at a distance a hardcore fan would immediately dismiss it due to its mellow instrumental nature and would not for even once realize that this is a Paramore song. In other words, this track resonates a country sound than the hard and dark genres Paramore specializes in.
With the departure of the Farrow Brothers and the induction of new members, Hayley has decided to add a new look and feel to the melancholic sound they used to produce. Although not been a chronic Paramore addict I have to say that I’m not entirely pleased with this subtle tone that the band has taken.
Two more tracks were included as a part of the Singles Club; “Renegade”, “Hello Cold World”.
