Nicki Minaj ft. Chris Brown “Right By My Side” Video Premiere

The last time I saw Nicki Minaj looking truly gorgeous was in the video for “Right Thru Me”, that is until now.

This is yet another video promoting her distasteful album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and it stars Nas as Minaj’s leading man while Chris Brown makes an appearance for the chorus.

While this track sounds much better than anything else Minaj had to offer from the same album, it still lacks the most crucial element of all; rap verses. The only rap verse of this track appears towards the very end but that too in a very overly theatrical manner which does not keep in with the rest of the song’s vibe.

At least this track sounds less typical than the electro-hop trash Minaj has been involved as of late. In that aspect “Right By My Side” is the clear winner when compared to all of Minaj’s prior attempts at music (in a pop sense).

Rating: ♥♥♥

Psst…what was up with the weird facial expression at the very end of the video when she was hugging Nas?

Pssst…CB is planning on releasing his next video very soon so keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked.

Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – Album Review

This gallery contains 1 photo.

When Nicki Minaj blew open the female rap scene she did it with poise and a good sense for music. Her debut album, Pink Friday boasted a diverse set of tracks, both lyrically and musically thereby giving birth to a phenomenon in the world of hip hop. Sadly for the Harajaku Barbie her sophomore album [...]

Nicki Minaj “Starships” Video Premiere

Nicki Minaj might have called herself a rapper at the very beginning of her career but now she has transcended to the realm of feel-good Pop music that brags sick melodies, and catchy hooks with no noticeable verses in between.

After months of teasing and temper tantrums (possibly due to an album that hustled many sales but failed to deliver in a musical aspect) Nicki Minaj has finally released the video for her only chart reigning number and all it has to offer are ass & tits smeared in body paint and visual effects. There’s nothing Hawaii about this video!

All that waiting for a crappy video, Nicki please!

Pssst….Aaaaaaaand 9 days later Nicki came back to Twitter.

Nicki Minaj ft. 2 Chainz “Beez In The Trap [NFSW]” Video Premiere

If you think that Minaj’s “Stupid Hoe” was the worst track she has done then I take it that you have not witnessed the debauchery that is “Beez In The Trap”. This is yet another video that would not be aired on TV, off her sophomore effort, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (which is sure to debut at No.1 this week).

If you were introduced to the Young Money First Lady on “Super Bass” or like I, “Your Love then this track/video is definitely NOT for you.
When a female rapper is expected to hit up an all-male strip club (duh!), Nicki Minaj prances around with scantily ladies alongside her wingman, 2 Chainz. Or maybe Nicki was Chainz’ wingman?

The beat is hard, the lyrics are explicit and somewhat typical of Cars, Money & Clothes and 2 Chainz verse was utterly disgraceful. Appearing in the video are Birdman, Slim Thug, and Safaree Samuels.

rating: ♥ (Not worth watching even!)

Psst…2 Chainz was formerly known as Tity Boi. hahahahahaah

Nicki Minaj “Starships” Single Premiere

The Harajuku Barbie releases yet another cut off her upcoming sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and this time she shows off her sunny side after packing punch after punch on all the Stupid Ho’s.

The RedOne produced beat boasts ample amounts of sugary goodness. And adding to the confection is Nicki Minaj’s high flying words and overall cute & cuddly presence.

The beat might be a dance number slightly reminiscent of other such creations and Minaj’s words might be somewhat cliche but the overall effect is quite joyous. But remember despite being radio-friendly this is no “Super Bass” thereby telling you a lot. So tread lightly as you may like this or find this repetitive.

Can the Young Money first lady attain another hit? You tell me.

Nicki Minaj “Stupid Hoe” Video Premiere

Dear Nicki you are a colossal train wreck on this derelict track. You spent 3 minutes of our valuable time (that you can never get back) dissing Lil Kim and her EP (which she earned money from) which was yesterdays news. You never addressed the problem a year ago so why bother now?

This video is the aftermath of a collision between the Little Monster express and the Barbie conglomerate. This track is slated to appear on Nicki’s sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded which was just pushed back to April 3rd from February 14th (which was a good move).

Don’t bother watching the video or listening to the track because it is not worth an entire 3 minutes. Again I stress that this track should have been on a pre-album mixtape.

rating: ♥ (2:40 was kinda cute)

Nicki Minaj “Stupid Hoe” Single Premiere

Another cut from her upcoming Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded project due in February. This would be Minaj’s second attempt at dissing the notorious Kim on the same album and has been rumored to have already shot a video for this particular number.

The track is actually worse than her previous. Thinking back her previous “Roman in Moscow” has more production quality than this. Maybe calling herself the female Weezy is not quite working out and is probably effecting her lyrical ability. As a result of this amateurish attempt at some publicity Lil Kim is going to profit.

If a diss track is to be written this approach would be best but the chances of it been heard on repeat is very less therefore such tracks as this should be left on a mixtape. Guess not everybody can pull a real slim shady.

rating: ♥ (Guess Madonna’s smooching did more worse than good)

Nicki Minaj “Roman in Moscow” Single Premiere

The Pink Friday mistress unleashes her alter ego Roman on her debut single off her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
The album is slated for release on the 14th of February, 2012 and will prominently feature the foul mouth British accented alter ego of Nicki Minaj.

We first heard of the notorious Roman on the track “Roman’s Revenge” alongside the psychotic Slim Shady but wasn’t entirely impressed.
This track however features a very angry but experienced Nicki Minaj trying to rehash her previously publicized feud with Lil Kim and again is not that interesting.

With some intense and cocky wordplay, Minaj fires rhyme after rhyme with no chorus in between verses sticking to the vibe created by the beat. Not a bad effort by the Harajuku Barbie but we still think that she can do better.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Mattel will be releasing a limited edition Nicki Minaj barbie doll.
