Nickelback “Bottoms Up” Single Streaming

The second single off Nickelback’s highly anticipated album, Here and Now which was predicted  to debut somewhere in the top 3 of the Billboard 200.

Taking a break from their Alt Rock signature style on their previous encounter, the band of rowdy Canadians take center stage to wyle out uncontrollably with the aid of clanging instruments and raucous vocals.

The lyrics aren’t in anyway what you would call “original” but the music composition demands the writer to stoop to such uncreative levels in order to provide an entertaining aura for the ever loving fan-base.

Hence, it’s an overall good effort but nothing that you could call superior in this time of day. The lyric video was quite entertaining and wasn’t a complete waste!

Nickelback “When We Stand Together” Video Premiere

Out of the two songs released from their upcoming 7th album, Here and Now, it seems that only one got treated to a set of visuals.

Although this track brought in a major wave of deja vu, I like it. Unlike the band’s other lead single “Bottoms Up”, this track is more on the alternative rock side. In spite of the video looking quite cheap (or even moderately budgeted) the message was able to be sent across.

Overall it is a good lead single.
