Nas “Daughters” Single Premiere

Just recently Nas played “The Don” which unfortunately for him sounded pompous and unreal. Now he gives us a glimpse into “Daughters” which will be his third single from his forthcoming album, Life Is Good.

On “Daughters” Nas takes on the persona of a father as he raps about the difficulties in raising a child. Nas exudes paternal love and understanding on this number through his tongue twisting and educative lyrics.

This is why Nas is/was called one of the biggest undisputed rappers in the game. He may not be accumulating vast amounts of wealth like Jay Z or 50 Cent but he does what he does best and that is create rap music that focuses on lyrics and subject matter rather than beats or hooks.

Nas “The Don” Video Premiere

This may not be Nas’ best attempt off his upcoming album Life is Good but it does contain some admirable qualities. For instance Nas actually raps on the track instead of speak-sing like many other upcoming rappers and the beat is unique and fast paced.

The production was handled by a three way collaboration between Salaam Remi, Da Internz & the late Heavy D.

Some may like this enough to purchase it others may feel a pirated download would do either way this track may end up on your playlist albeit not for long.

Psst…Also released by Nas very recently was “Daughters” which many say is much better than “The Don”.

Nas “Nasty” Video Premiere

Do Ya’ll Wanna See Nas get Nasty? Then check this out.

The former King of New York is back to lay claim to his throne and rid the world classless rap. This video is off Nas’ upcoming tenth studio album, Life Is Good and will be his last with Def Jam Records.

The video is depicts Nas walking through the streets of New York distributing his wealth while a plethora of sponsored products appear now and then. Not exactly a high budget video but it fits perfectly with the fast paced rap therefore making it worth your while.

In conclusion this is a good comeback effort from Nas. More Info

Updated with VEVO visual.

Common ft. Nas “Ghetto Dreams” Video Premiere

The melody of this track is reminiscent with the melodies produced back 10 years ago but sadly there’s no proper chorus thereby making this single lose it’s potential. The video is in black & white therefore making it look like a piece of art but what this track basically required was more Nas and less Common.

Also Common needs to trim his beard because he looks like a homeless Rick Ross.

Nas “Nasty” Single Premiere

For those of you don’t know who the hell Nas is. He is a rapper hailing from New York, a former king to the East Cost rap throne before Jay Z and 50 Cent dethroned him in a series of beefs.

This is some brand new stuff from Nas off his upcoming album titled Life Is Good. This track can be classified as a non-stop spit marathon without any chorus for a breather. The beat is pretty basic but fortunately doesn’t sound electronic and might resemble rap beats of the yesteryear.

Worth downloading due to a certain uniqueness it comprises compared to hip hop songs made today.
