You heard the track and saw the lyric video a couple of weeks ago so what do you think of the official video?
Even after been forced to repeatedly listen to this track I am unable to veer away from my original rating. Will appear on the band’s forthcoming album, Overexposed.
“Overexposed is definitely one of our most diverse and poppiest albums yet,” frontman Adam Levine said of the band’s fourth studio album. “We had a great time recording it. I can’t wait for our fans to hear the record, as well as hitting the road to play it live for everyone later this year.”

It’s hip, it’s pop and but does it sound like the Maroon 5 we all know and loved? Wiz Khalifa, however, does not bring anything to this synthy-pop song except for rhyming common slang such as balling, stunning etc.. Overall his verse did not make sense.
This will act as Maroon 5′s debut single off their upcoming fouth album, Overexposed arriving June 26th.
Do not expect a video for “Payphone” because the lyric video was already made to resemble a video using hand drawn characters to represent a comic strip which made the entire project a wee bit interesting that it would have otherwise been.
I give this a 50/50 rating because I did not hear anything noticeable, apart from been catchy, that makes the song worth purchasing. What say you?
Finally after months of restless waiting Adam Levine & Co. were able to give us the video for this awesomtastic eargazzmer.
I don’t know why but every time I see Adam I want to punch his lights out apart from that I love this song. Absolute must listen for everyone. This is one of those fast paced disco pop songs with a tinge of rock & electronic beats for seasoning.
Also this is the explicit version which has a pair of boobies making their cameo at 2:32
The song sounds good and has a oldies hint to it, maybe that’s how all real country songs sound. As for the video, it is very restricted and repetitive albeit the ending was shocking. Anyhow many M5 fans might be disappointed for not seeing Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine in the video.
