Simple Plan “Loser Of The Year” Live Performance

Pop-punk band Simple Plan released their fourth video, from their recently released album Get Your Heart On, earlier this week.

The video comprises of concert footage from a recent tour. “Loser Of The Year” is a fast paced, jovial pop-punk effort similar to their acts of the yesteryear. A good attempt but nothing magical like their previous single “Astronaut”.

EDIT – Apparently according to one of the fans (comment below), this is just a random video released by a non-official through an unofficial source. My apologies for the misleading post :)

JGL “Ignition (remix)” Cover video

Also called Joseph Gordon Levitt known mostly for his acting chops (Inception, G.I. Joe, Dark Knight Rises, 3rd Rock from the Sun etc.) but did you know that the guy can really sing.

Well check him out above for his acoustic cover of R.Kelly’s most notable song of the yesteryear “Ignition (remix)”.

JoJo “What’s My Name” cover single

JoJo takes a stab at Rihanna’s highly acclaimed duet “What’s My Name” off her 2010 album LOUD. And she ended it with a bang.

Await for JoJo’s upcoming third album titled Jumping Trains scheduled to drop early next Spring. The video for her debut single “Disaster” is about to be released in a week or two.

Below are the Behind The Scenes footage.

Taylor Swift “Just A Dream (cover)” Live

Country darling Taylor Swift went back to her R&B/Hip Hop personna just a few days ago to cover Eminem’s Oscar winning single “Lose Yourself” using just a guitar and her gifted vocals. And now she is back again to cover one of (rapper) Nelly’s best comeback ballads “Just A Dream”.

Check it out, it’s simply amazing!

Kudos to Rico Love & Jim Jonsin for the composition and writing of some of the lyrics. And Nelly for adding that special unidentifiable ingredient he is known for.

Did you know that Nelly’s “coolness” was boosted in the eyes of his daughter when Taylor Swift tweeted the song?  I can’t seem to find the damn tweet -_-

Beyonce “1+1″ Single Premiere

This is by far the best number released from Beyonce’s upcoming album, 4. This isn’t an electronic based mockery of a single with highly tuned vocal cords that people are listening to these day. This is a slow and audible number which comprises of a very Soul/RnB approach. Beyonce proves her amazing vocal abilities by using them to her full extent which she hasn’t been doing since recently.

Sorry guys the Sound Cloud link was removed just a few hours after posting it. Check out Hulkshare or any other file sharing network because this is definitely worth it. Hope the performance on AI would suffice for now.

And the American Idol Season 10 (2011) Winner is………

The guy with the insanely deep voice for his age, Scott McCreery.

Elimination

McCreery performing the Winner’s Single

I had a strange feeling of this guy winning or at least making it to the very last rounds, ever since I heard him during his first round audition. Also he had one tough time finding a group to accept him because of his deep voice not blending in with modern day hits they were supposed to perform during the early rounds when the Group based Acapella was going on.

And also he’s just 17. Lucky Bastard, no? :o

Here’s all our wishes to Scott McCreery & Lauren Alaina for a prosperous and fun career doing what they like.
