Lil Wayne ft. Kevin Rudolf “Novacane” Single Streaming

This is another creative and mellow sounding track from Lil Wayne’s commercially overrated album, Tha Carter IV.

The track was produced by Emile Haynie and co-written & sung by Kevin Rudolf. The melody as far as I can tell might be a sample cleverly amalgamated with few bits and pieces of original production. This is another beautiful track that went unnoticed by the hardcore Wayne fans and even by the man himself.

Again Lil Wayne shows his inability to identify his best works hence allowing this serene track to appear not on the Deluxe version but on the Target edition adding insult to injury.

Don’t forget to check out Kevin Rudolf’s Rock/ Hip Hop inspired singles such as “You Make The Rain Fall” , “Welcome To The World”, “N.Y.C” to name a few. Give these a listen and I guarantee you would go for his entire album.

Lil Wayne ft. Bruno Mars “Mirror” Single

In case you are wondering if you should spend a few bucks on Lil Wayne’s so called highest selling hip hop album on the year, I would recommend you to not to. Since the album proved to be mediocre and sloppy mostly in the lyrics and feature department but it does have its moments of well earned glory that the masses should feel happy about.

One of these so called “moments of glory” is the Bruno Mars assisted track “Mirror” which unfortunately appears only on the deluxe edition. Everything from Wayne’s rare lyrical prowess to Bruno Mars’ vocal capacity and uniqueness is pure magic and can be clearly seen from this track.

The melody, according to my ears, has quite a resemblance to the type of melodies produced in Hindi movies which I’ve watched in excess during the course of my life. That paired along with the meaningful and deep verses- ignoring Wayne’s wheezing tone- made the already beautiful melody into a true piece of music.

Unfortunately Lil Wayne fails to recognize his own rare spurges of musical talent thus allowing the track to appear on the Deluxe edition of his platinum certified album.

Lil Wayne & Enrique Iglesias “How To Love” Spanglish version

Tunechi doesn’t seem to be done with this ever vibrant song yet. Latin American pop sensation, Enrique decided to jump on the remix with an extra Spanish verse at 1:35. After all it ain’t a love song of any sorts unless its got one of the most beautiful language’s on this earth.

Check out Megan Nicole’s Spanish verse in her own own version.
Check out the official video for the original version here.

Lil Wayne “How To Love” Video Premiere

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! Everything from the song to the visuals is pure LOVE. At first I couldn’t even tell if it was a Lil Wayne video.

The third video from his recently released Tha Carter IV and also the highest charting single from his album so far. His first single “6 foot 7 foot” managed to uncomfortably make an impact and draw some attention to his album whereas his second single & video “John” which features Rick Ross turned out to be an utter flop in the eyes of his fans.

But now Weezy has decided to take different approach in marketing his album hence he decided to release a slow R&B type ballad with a set of emotionally captivating visuals.

Lil Wayne ft. Drake “She Will” Single Premiere

After seeing the success of his ballad type single “How To Love” Tunechi decided to release another one of his songs from the highly anticipated fourth installment of Tha Carter series. This one’s called “She Will” and features Wayne’s protege Drake on the hook.

The beat is unique and his lyrics shows improvement compared to his previous efforts. Drake can only be heard on the chorus as far as I can tell.

The only problem I have with this single is Wayne starting off the first verse with the P-word which is beginning to annoy me since I’m not a Weezy fan therefore I’m not accustomed to his style of rap. Also the N-word is highly irritating as well. Rappers these days base all their songs on these few words of slang which ultimately renders the song meaningless and unpleasant.

Sound Cloud contains tags/shout outs.

Lil Wayne “Anne (Stan Pt. 2)” Single Premiere

Firstly, this track is not to be confused as the official sequel of Eminem’s highly successful single “Stan” because it is not and is titled so by the YMCMB camp for publicity. This track was produced by Swizz Beatz with the intention of having it featured on Eminem’s Relapse, as the sequel to “Stan”. Unfortunately for Swizz, Eminem wasn’t interested in doing a sequel therefore had to kindly reject it causing Swizz Beatz to exchange it with Lil Wayne in return for a collaboration with Weezy on Swizz’ upcoming album, Haute Living.

It’s now being said that this single won’t be appearing on Weezy’s Tha Carter IV or Swizz’ album and therefore is available for us internet geeks.

The song is beautiful and is a very brave attempt by both Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz even though it sample’s a track from t.A.T.u called “30 minutes”. Must Listen for fans of any genre!

Okay so I did not take a chance with posting a direct link because the link on SoundCloud was removed a couple of hours after uploading therefore I’m not sure where exactly the promotion of this track stands.

Lil Wayne “How To Love” Single Premiere

Looks like another attempt by Weezy to chart a single properly before releasing his new album Tha Carter IV.
Honestly speaking this guitar strumming, low beat track is too good for him and fortunately for us he didn’t completely butcher the single. Weezy attempts singing on this single without overusing any computer generated voice stabilizers.

Overall a really good, melody and lyrics wise. Who knew this guy would be teaching us how to love a woman in a very gentleman like manner. Also kudos to Detail and the rest of his crew for producing this track.

Never thought I’d be listening to a Lil Wayne track on repeat.
