Korn “Way Too Far” Video Premiere

Korn takes it way too far on their latest video off their experimental album, The Path of Totality released last year. This track also features production from 12th Planet & Flinch.

Again similarly to their previous tracks Korn incorporates Dubstep into their traditional Heavy Metal sound thus rendering something truly unimaginable. When compared to “Narcissistic Cannibal” this track falls way behind and unlike the prior mentioned track it does not tend to grow on you after a couple of listens.

Also released a few weeks ago was a montage of concert footage in the form of a music video for the Skrillex assisted track “Chaos Lives In Everything”.

Korn “Narcissistic Cannibal” Video Premiere

Yikes, I’m beginning to like this form of Metal infused Dubstep.
With additional production from acclaimed producers Skrillex & Kill The Noise, this is Korn unleashing their second video off their upcoming album, The Path of Totality.

This concoction of Dubstep and Metal called as KornStep by their ever loving fans, would be the evolution of heavy metal as far as I can tell. The beat was hard as a metal track could get but the vocals fortunately did not include any screaming as many of the tracks in this genre does.

Real metal-heads whats do you think of this transformation of Korn?

Korn ft. Skrillex “Get Up” Video Premiere

Introducing the fusion of Heavy Metal with Dubstep or KornStep as dubbed by a fan. This is the Heavy Metal instrumentalists mixing in their demonic sound with the futuristic synthesizers of Skrillex.

It was said that their tenth studio album titled The Path of Totality (December) will feature many infusions of Dubstep by a variety of producers specializing in Electro music production.

The only song I’ve ever heard of Korn is the one with rapper Xzibit which I don’t know the title of, sadly. However I can say that I kind of liked this track but not something I would listen repeatedly.

So does Metal & Dubstep amalgamate together? “Kinda” but I would like to listen to more of this alternative form of music before confirming it.
