Katy Perry “Dressin’ Up” Lyric Video

Katy dresses up her latest single off her re-release with floor banging electronica coupled with an uptempo beat.

The song is as common as it can get for an electro-pop banger but what amazed me was the lyric video.
When most Lyric Video’s are bland, Perry decides to play out the lyrics in her song in the most imaginative of ways.

Watch the video to really appreciate the time consuming effort. So the next time you realize that your song is dull and generic make sure to produce a titillating lyric video to rake in views, just as Miss Perry did.

Katy Perry “Part of Me” Video Premiere

Even though the song for this particular video debuted at the number 1 position of the Billboard Hot 100, I found it weak and uninteresting especially when compared to her previous efforts.

The video depicts Perry breaking up with his boyfriend and later runs off to join the armed forces. Then undergoing the roughest and toughest of training unbearable by many. Sadly a video does not make a generic dance-pop song any better than it is therefore this track cannot stand by its own in spite of selling an unexpected number of copies so far.

The video is basically “an affirmation of strength”, according to Perry. This track will appear on the upcoming re-release titled as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection due in stores March 26th.

Katy Perry “Part Of Me” Single Premiere

On the night of the much acclaimed 54th Grammy Awards,  Katy Perry released this brand new dance-pop number which is intended for the re-release of her previously successful album. The upcoming project is slated for re-release on the 26th of March as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.

This track was produced by Dr. Luke for the original album but was left out due to unknown reasons. “Part Of Me” was definitely re-written as a diss for Perry’s former husband, Russell Brand. Check out the lyric video below and hear for yourself.

Katy Perry “The One That Got Away” Video Premiere

Mrs. Russell Brand releases yet another single off her platinum selling album Teenage Dream which was released last year.

The video shows Perry reminiscing about her young years with her boyfriend, the one that got away or rather taken away. The melody isn’t that special but the chorus turned out to be quite nice. As for this single becoming Perry’s sixth consecutive number one, well let’s leave that for chance.

A 11 minute extended version is supposed to hit the internet today.
