Jason Derulo ft. Jordin Sparks “It Girl (remix)” Video Premiere

Jason Derulo is known for his hit single “Whatcha Say” and probably “In My Head” but that was on his debut album. His sophomore, however was not well received as many had hoped for primarily due to majority of his tracks being of Electro-Pop nature.

But despite all the generic trash Derulo tried to shove into our ears he did release one single that was highly regarded by his fans and that was “It Girl”.
Now the very same song that gave him quite alot of buzz has been remixed and I mean literally remixed with a different beat and a new verse from his girlfriend Jordin Sparks (Sixth Season winner of American Idol).

Unfortunately for him the remix does not sound as good as he thought it would sound. The video features shots of both Derulo and Sparks doing their everyday boyfriend-girlfriend routine.

Jason Derulo “Fight For You” Video Premiere

This would be Derulo’s third video & single for his flopped album Future History .

The melody interpolates “Africa” by Toto during the chorus. The lyrics however were altered to fit into a love song. This flashy R&B track is again a weak attempt by Derulo and doesn’t have what it takes to stand out from the rest of his album. I prefer if Derulo would stop the excessive use of auto-tune to make his vocals sound powerful.

On the bright side he showcased the talents of a beautiful model, again! So the video wasn’t a complete waste of time :D

Jason Derulo “Breathing” Video Premiere

Jason Derulo ditches his R&B’ish dance type sound to make way for a more classy form of dance music for his third single off his unsuccessful second album, Future History.

The track, which was produced by Dj Frank E, was entirely made to resemble that of Euro Dance music. This House influence dance track has a tendency to garner positive reactions in the European market only if it makes it through the right channels.
Nevertheless this track depicts a different form of music that Derulo is not know for, and therefore has a tendency to draw in new fans and refresh the old ones.

The tribal melody heard during the chorus is quite catchy and can be called the reason that this song attracts listeners.

Jason Derulo “It Girl” Video Premiere

The video of Derulo’s latest single has finally dropped and it isn’t bad although this wasn’t what I expected. Nevertheless this is a beautiful Pop/R&B ballad with ample amounts of acoustical sound.

Sorry fro the delay in posting this beautiful track. Check here for more info regarding the track if you aren’t still convinced on how sweet sounding it is.

Jason Derulo “It Girl” Single Premiere

The “Watcha Say” hit maker is back with a brand new single off his sophomore album, Future History (September).

If you are a fan of Derulo or at least familiar with his work you would know him as a dance pop singer who relies on auto-tune occasionally. This track is quite the contrary, it is made up of many live sounding instruments although one could argue and this track doesn’t use any pitch correction software as far as I can tell. Also this isn’t a corny dance single.

This up-tempo non electronic R&B’ish single might just be the sound that audiences across the world were looking for Derulo to deliver. Just listen to the first 20 seconds and you’ll know if this needs to be on your iPod.
