Ja Rule “Believe” Video Premiere

Ja Rule was never a lyrically gifted rapper, even back in the day when he was making hits but the New York native always had the voice that was required by a rapper. This is his third video from his upcoming seventh album, Pain Is Love 2.

But this track is a whole different affair where Ja Rule raps something worth thinking about. The beat is hot and somewhat unique despite its heavy sound. The video as usual is cheap and mostly contains footage of various other scenes from the yesteryear.

Overall this is not a bad attempt and should be listened to, at least once if you are a hip hop enthusiast. Else don’t bother.

Ja Rule “Never Had Time” Video Premiere

The track features vocals from Jon Doe and is the first video off Ja’s upcoming album Pain Is Love 2.

Ja Rule used to be a household name back in the early 2000′s thanks to his massive cow sized beef with Eminem & 50 Cent but as time passed he started fading away. Now in spite of been in prison for tax evasion Ja is back on the hip hop wagon and is not planning on fading away.

This is a really good come-back attempt from Ja Rule. In terms of melody this track is listenable and can be called heart warming alas the lyric department is underfunded and as a result is under performing. Then again Ja Rule was never really known as an exceptional lyricist despite that’s what being a rapper is all about.

Ja Rule ft. Kalenna “To The Top” Single Premiere

ja rule to the top

After a prolonged absence, Ja Rule is back with not one but two albums, titled The Renaissance Project & Pain Is Love 2 which was pushed back from his original release date June 7th. However this single is off either of these two albums and has a very Soul/RnB approach to it.
All in all I’m thankful that this isn’t another one of those club or Mafia type tracks. It seems that Ja Rule is trying to go back to his roots with his new albums
