Florence + The Machine “Breath of Life” Video Premiere

To quote a commenter on a warez site “Florence & the Machine is one band you go out of the way just to avoid their music but when you do get a dose of them you end up needing more “.

From the soundtrack to the movie Snow White & The Huntsman. The soundtrack is due on the 29th of May whereas the movie drops June 1st,2012.

The video contains studio footage and never before seen scenes from the movie. It’s basically a visual promotion of the movie and nothing more but the track is as spectacular it can be.

This is Florence and her unstoppable Machine going against the sounds of a fully fledged orchestra.

Florence + The Machine “Breath Of Life” Video Premiere

Will appear on the soundtrack of the movie, Snow White and the Huntsman due in theaters June 1st 2012 starring Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart & Charlize Theron.

This is just pure Florence Welch and to make the situation even much better the overall track matches the feeling the movie is supposed to conjure. The melody is the sole product created by the excellence of a well trained orchestra.

If this isn’t good music I honestly don’t know know what is therefore I urge you to give this a try.

Florence + The Machine “Never Let Me Go” Video

The English baroque/indie pop-rock band released yet another video last month in support of their highly sought after album, Ceremonials (2011). Similarly to their previous efforts “Never Let Me Go” creates an arty experience instead of following a train of thought.

The scene takes place at an ice rink with Florence Welch in jet black hair resembling a Gothic look. She takes center stage (or ice?) with a mysterious man who disappears at the end leaving Florence to drown in a sea of dirty water. With several unseen elements unfolding throughout the video, Florence and her diabolical Machine provides us with another video to ponder on.

In conclusion, Never Let Me Go” is a beautiful song that deserves a spot on your never ending playlist. This just might be the breakthrough act that the band was looking for so make sure to give it at least a listen (if you don’t prefer artistic videos).

Florence + The Machine “Lover To Lover” Video Premiere

The red haired Brit takes it to the stage on her latest video leaving aside all the arty & somewhat controversial depictions she is known for. This may or may not be a single off her latest chart topping album, Ceremonials.

From what I hear her lyrics are somewhat dark and moody, and the lighting captures and reflects it accurately as possible. But all that darkness highlights the optimistic & sunny melody which may sound a bit familiar due to some unknown reason.

A good and simply effort by the ethereal Florence and her talented brand.

Florence + The Machine “No Light, No Light” Video Premiere

The artful Florence takes her latest video and single off her sophomore album Ceremonials, to a devilish level with the aid of the Machine that makes her tick.

The track is both insane and out of this world. While most of her other tracks remain in a dream spiritual embrace “No Light, No Light” takes a different approach. Honestly I don’t understand what this video is all about except that it may have a religious significance due to the depiction of Christian and Voodoo iconography throughout the video.

And that shaman-like character gave me the creeps!

Florence & The Machine “Shake It Out” Video Premiere

It’s hard to go about Florence & The Machine mostly because of the band’s ability to make every song different. This is the band’s second single off their second album titled Ceremonials (October).

Once muted the visuals of this single might represent a pagan ritual of some sort but once the sound blends in the single takes a whole new turn. This single in general is about forgetting one’s demons and other otherworldly problems by simply dancing it out as awkwardly as possible.

This mid-tempo Indie gospel-pop track doesn’t veer away from the band’s previous single in terms of excellence. It’s best to listen to the single first and then dive into the visuals or else the video’s artistic nature might bore you to death.

This single also spawned two official remixes from The Weekend & trance/house master Benny Benassi out of which the latter is absolutely eargazzming.

The London based baroque pop  vocalist & her crew of ever talented musicians are back with their debut single off their upcoming sophomore effort. The album although awaiting its title is set to hit stores on the 7th of November, 2011.

Well known for their artistic approach to music, the band of experimentalists continue with their unique combination of both vocals and melody to tone down the soul and mind of the ever tussled human being. This song at a glance would not end up on anybodies playlist but as history states so do all Florence & The Machine songs. Eventually the regular audiophile gives into the odd but wonderful taste of Florence & The Machine after a few repeated listens to their songs.

If you haven’t heard of this exciting, fresh and talented crew of musicians from their worldwide hit (also the highest charting US hit), “Dog Days Are Over” then this right here is the next best single to indulge your senses.
