Fat Joe ft. Arland “So Fly” Video Premiere

Naming one’s song as the above title is an immediate turn-off in this day of time. This would be the third video from Joe’s 2011 mixtape The Darkside Vol. 2.

As usual Fat Joe, like every other rapper goes on and on about the good life. The video depicts exterior shots of his Miami mansion and what might be his own personal ride, a pink Ferrari. O_o
A few pretty girls appearing here and there showing no lewd conduct whatsoever. And a short and vocally enhanced chorus provided by someone named Arland.

Thankfully this track does not boast a hard hitting typical hip hop beat but a rather a chilling and fluid sound which might be reminiscent of hip hop songs from the mid 2000′s.

Fat Joe ft. Chris Brown “Another Round” Video Premiere

A much leaner Fat Joe enlists R&B superstar Chris Brown to provide some soulful vocals for his latest Troop sampled number. This sultry track is the first single off Joe’s upcoming eleventh album which is yet to be titled.

The video is probably a low-budget affair but with classy production quality and therefore has to be applauded. Shot in sepia Joe & Brown perform their romantic number surrounded by somewhat topless (but classy) ladies along the beach. Unfortunately for Fat Joe his short and unromantic verses makes this entire affair a Chris Brown song.

This track would have earned an extra heart if only Fat Joe highlighted himself in the track as opposed to Chris Brown.

1:21 -  What’s up with all the girl-on-girl action on recent R&B/dance/hip hop videos? It’s definitely hot but it sometimes lowers quality of the video (not in this case though ). I wonder if those women are comfortable doing that sort of thing.
