Evanescence “My Heart Is Broken” Video Premiere

To be honest I wasn’t exactly happy with Evanescence’s debut single “What You Want” maybe because it was intended for their most genuine fans but this track- which serves as their second single from their third album Evanescence -is more radio friendly.

However, the visuals look cheap & uninteresting which is a big turn off if you have seen the band’s previous music videos. Nevertheless this track is a good attempt and the video was apparently inspired by a horror themed British flick.

Evanescence “What You Want” Video Premiere

Evanescence debuts the video for their highly anticipated single “What You Want” which is off their eponymous album due in October.

I’m not an undying fan of the band but I have quite a few favorites such as “Bring Me to Life”, “Immortal” and “Call Me When Your Sober” to name a few. But this track doesn’t sound anything like most of their previous material or maybe it’s because I haven’t listened to their albums as a whole either way it is different but in a good way.
“What You Want” weighs more on to the heavy metal side but with a an essence unique only to the band. You could call this an amalgamation of heavy metal and Gothic rock.

Re-edited post with the HQ Vevo link. Enjoy!

The video for their debut single “What You Want” is apparently still in the works as far as I can tell since YouTube doesn’t show any recollection of the video.
