Alas, Diggy’s debut album Unexpected Arrival did not do well on the charts by debuting in at the 13th position on the Billboard 200. The album has yet to cross 50k units in sales.
This is Diggy’s third video off his debut album. The track was produced by D’mile.
Apparently “Copy Paste” does not appear on the album. IMO it wasn’t a great song to begin with therefore the chances of it been missed is minimum.

I have always respected Diggy for his stance against the use of profanity in rap music but I was never really interested enough to download any of his songs. Today he proved himself of being more man of a rapper than any other B-list rapper currently dominating the scene.
This is the third video & single off Diggy’s debut album,Unexpected Arrival due in mid-March. Of course the track features veteran “ninja turtle” look-a-like Jadakiss but Diggy has managed to stick to his PG persona even on a hard beat as this.
While some of his previous ventures exuded a more lovey-dovey persona “88″ reflects the hard hitting, swagnificent self of Diggy Simmons but with PG wordplay unachievable by many other wannabes. As for the video, it was merely created to gain some promotion. It also features a shot of uncle Russell Simmon’s (Run-DMC).
A tracklist is yet to be released but the below mentioned tracks will be definitely featured on the album. Unfortunately for Simmons none of these tracks have had any recognizable charting.
The son of acclaimed rapper Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons of Run-D.M.C. drops his second video off his upcoming untitled project.
This time the PG rapper enlists “Birthday Sex” hitmaker Jeremih as his wingman in warming up to the ladies. The track is more of a contemporary R&B effort than a Hip Hop one. Diggy unleashes his lyrical ability all the while staying sincere and respectful to the female kind while Jeremih woos a girl on the chorus.
Overall this is not a bad single but could’ve been better.
Diggy previously announced that he will not be incorporating profanity in his music and this track bares witness. This guy would probably be the Justin Bieber of rap music.
The son of the legendary rapper & founder of the rap crew Run-D.M.C. , Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons. Diggy who was formerly known as Diggy Simmons was also a part of the reality TV show based on his family called, Run’s House.
The 16 year old rapper had accumulated over 2 million views on his freestyle over Nas’ “Made You Look” which eventually led him to being recognized by Atlantic Records. His first official mixtape under Atlantic Records titled Airborne spawned a hit which ended up in a AT & T commercial. “Copy, Paste” is the debut single of his upcoming untitled album.
Bottom line is that this isn’t a great debut. The video is okay but alas the single is not even close to his previous hit “Great Expectations”with Bei Maejor on his mixtape Airborne.
