Colbie Caillat Ft. Common “Favorite Song” Single Premiere
Not being a fan of Colbie but having listened to a few of her tracks. this was the main song I was looking out for on her new album, All Of You due to be released tomorrow. This single was produced by One Republic’s, Ryan Tedder.
The track started out great with the chorus and moved on to a short rap by Common as it moved on to Colbie’s verse that’s where things didn’t sound right. The drum beat played in the background isn’t the usual beat you would hear on a Colbie Caillat track as far as I know. Albeit not living up to my expectations it did not disappoint me either.
This track can however be catchy when played on repeat for a couple of times. As for a country singer collaborating with a rapper is not new now especially since Jason Aldean featured rapper Ludacris on his new released “Dirt Road Anthem” a couple of weeks ago, which was honestly better than this.
