Music is the heart of one’s soul they say but nobody sticks to that phrase the way Adele does. This is Adele’s second single from her highly acclaimed sophomore album, 21 and is also her second single to reach the top most peak of the Billboard Hot 100. Her album is still charted among the top 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
Across the Atlantic to the new world Adele comes bearing gifts in the form of sweet melodies and beautiful vocals as opposed to the usual fire & blade. This unlike her previous hit does not contain a beat but rather a beautiful piano medley backing up the honest-to-god lyrics.
My second favorite single from her album after “Rumor Has It” which still doesn’t have its own video. -_-
