Orginally written by french musician Jean-Jacques Goldman and perfromed by Algerian artist Khaled. The current version was performed and re-written by unorthodox hip hop group Outlandish and is the most notable song from the group.
The song is basically about a woman been courted by a man but the soulful vibe it exudes is simply other worldly. This track is off their second album Bread & Barrels of Water.
This version is actually better than the first and is by no means a rap song. This is the group’s lead vocalist tearing his heart out to the woman he loves. Although this ballad did not appear on the US & UK charts it was a major hit in almost every other European & Asian country. The band’s biggest and probably the only breakthrough act up to date.

Psst…Aicha is the name of a woman also spelled & enunciated differently (A’isha, Aisha, Ayesha, and Ayisha) from region to region.
