“Lips of an Angel” was released way back in 2006 and is by far the band’s highest selling and charting (#3 US) single in many other countries. This is the second single from their debut album Extreme Behavior released in 2005.
This amazing post-grunge (as they call it) effort not only conquered a variety of radio stations but also many hearts of many people world over(including mine). The track is about the singer’s girlfriend of past trying to get in touch with him while the singer is already in a steady relationship. And him questioning what happened to them and why was she late to call him.
“Lips of an Angel” is a beautiful number and deserves to be played on repeat especially during one of those days. The following year a country version of this track surfaced thanks to musician Jack Ingram.
As of now Hinder has released three albums, the last been in 2010. The only other song to reach the Top 40 of the Billboard hot 100 is “Better Than Me”.
